Coming from the rustic town of Ipoh, Timothy began his music journey and his involvement with the creative arts at a very young age. He was actively involved in music and musical projects in the youth and worship ministries. He started learning guitar at the age of 12 which led him to learn other instruments such as the drums, the bass and also lead guitar. By the age of 13, he had already served as a musician and worship leader in his hometown church of St. Peter's, Ipoh. Today, he serves as one of the pastors at Faith Christian Centre KL, English zone pastor and worship pastor.
Besides his full time ministry, Timothy is also a singer-songwriter who has 2 albums and a few singles online. It is a project that was birthed from his initiative to create an impact in the Malaysian music scene.
Tim’s songs are always aimed at reaching out to people with a theme that reflects the decisions we make in life and the challenges we face. This is a learning experience where we can see our strengths and weaknesses; as long as we have the learning passion that drives us all.
